About

My name is Dan Tompkins and I’m a graphic designer and illustrator. If you’re here, we must’ve crossed paths during my travels or you simply stumbled upon this page while traversing the vast and complicated internet. Either way, I’m glad you’re here! Feel free to take a look around, and if you see something you like, don’t be shy!

Ever since I was a wee lad, I was a creative at heart. Drawing comics, building with Legos, making movies for school assignments, I always gravitated towards the artistic path. Somewhere down the line however, I fell into the trap that you had to get a “real job," and my creativity fell to the wayside. Senior year of college (the best year to figure out a major), I discovered graphic design, thanks to an incredible professor whom I owe more to than every single other class I took. Since taking that class I have had an insatiable appetite to hone my skills as an artist, and become the best storyteller I can be. So far this pursuit has taken me to Cambodia, the Galapagos Islands, and even Seattle, Washington to sell bugs. If that’s where this train has taken me so far, there’s absolutely no way I’m ever stepping off.
